Oishi is a snack brand owned by the multinational food company Liwayway Marketing Corporation,
which was founded in the Philippines in 1946. The company started as a family-owned business that
repackaged coffee and flour, and later expanded into distributing basic commodities, confectioneries,
and coffee. In 1974, Liwayway began manufacturing snack foods, including "Oishi Prawn Crackers" and "Kirei Yummy".
The word "Oishi" is Japanese and means "delicious".
Oishi snacks are inspired by Filipino culture, and are influenced by local flavors, street food stalls,
and family recipes. The brand's values include quality, integrity, long-standing relationships, and community.
Oishi's mission is to select safe and quality materials to satisfy customers and be recognized in both domestic
and international markets.
Oishi products are available in many Asian markets, including China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia,
